Most days my poems will probably go up just after midnight, but I'll try very hard to post every day. Today's prompt was to take the first line of a favourite poem and write your own poem with it, or use one of the first lines given:Walter de la Mar's Silver jumped out at me, so I went with it.
Slowly, silently, now the moon
sleeps. Longer days and shorter nights
Bring the sun smiling down on kids in the park, bears
on the paths -- too icy to travel.
Slowly, silently, now the snow
falls. Nature’s giant April Fool’s prank:
Spring is here, summer soon
to follow -- rain is on the way.
Slowly, silently, now the moon
sleeps.

Happy writing fellow NaPo's!

Well done. Noe poet myself, but most important is to write something down and get the creativity flow. Practise makes perfect, right? :)
